HUGE SLIP ON THE SOUTH ISLAND MAIN TRUNK RAILWAY: TRAIN TRAFFIC DISORGANISED BY A LANDSLIDE 26 MILES NORTH OF DUNEDIN [South of Puketeraki Tunnel]
Of note is that this occurred only two years before the abandonment of the Puketeraki Tunnel itself which took place in 1934.
